We all travel for a reason. But why do we listen to a Musical Album as we know it is a bit similar to travelling? Why do we take time to listen to a special voice? Some say because of the melody created by the voice, the tone and tempo. Some will neglect it as pure hallucination. Either it be hallucination or a beautiful melody, an Album called The Gift of Music was released on http://www.ndulemart.com by Cyrille The Angel & Saxayah. They are The two prominent figure of the Musical Genre Transcend and they are pushing the Musical Boundary to another Level. It’s an Album that emphasizes the Difference of Style between Cyrille The Angel and Saxayah.

Saxayah: Good Day! I’m great and you?

About The Transcend: I’m good. Well, in August you released a Single titled Bala Nga in YouTube. And now, a second collaborative Album with Cyrille The Angel hit the market. It is titled The Gift of Music and was released on ndulemart.com. It will be released soon on other major digital platforms. But before we start talking about it, can you tell the people who is Saxayah?

Saxayah: Saxayah… She is a Solo Musical Artist living in UK with many more dreams to accomplish in life and still collaborate with Cyrille The Angel.

About The Transcend: When did you start recording in Studio and start pushing toward your Musical Career and how did it start? If you can tell it to us briefly.

Saxayah: I started recording between 2009-2010 and I always push myself in my musical career but good things are to become really soon.

About The Transcend: I see. If Music had a Colour, which one will you choose to represent Music?

Saxayah: Rainbow.

About The Transcend: Oh! Ok. That’s the surprise… It’s a good answer. Ain’t going deep on it.

Saxayah: All right.

About The Transcend: You made an incredible Record and it’s a song that I love. It is called Bala Nga.

 But how was your Single Bala Nga made? Can we have the Behind the scene story?

Saxayah: Ok. Let’s talk about Bala Nga. Bala Nga is a song that I wrote due to many women complaining that the man just spends more years with them without proposing, that’s how Bala Nga is made and it means Epouse Moi in French. In English, it means Marry Me.

About The Transcend: I see. And the song is all in Lingala? Isn’t it?

Saxayah: Lingala and French.

About The Transcend: That’s good. Lingala is a language spoken in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Was it difficult for you to record it? I mean did you have some obstacles?

Saxayah: Not really. It took Me an hour to record it. Less than an hour, I mean, to record.

About The Transcend: I see. On This Upcoming Album with Cyrille The Angel: The Gift of Music, the Talk might be around your song Pour Lui. It is a song that touches the Rumba Community. How would you rate it in Your Musical Catalog you have for now?

Saxayah: I’m really going into style that I really love. Rumba is like an origin Song from my Country. Pour Lui will be in my Solo Album.

About The Transcend: Yes. But in Your Musical Catalog… Let’s say your Top 10 songs you made. How would you rate the song in your Top 10 songs You made?

Saxayah: I will give my song a 10 out of 10 which is Bala Nga. Soon, I’m doing a Video Clip as I have a Manager and Producer. I’m working with Didier Dickens. Big Up for everything you do.

About The Transcend: This is Really Good. To who would you dedicate The Collaborative Album The Gift of Music with Cyrille The Angel  because it’s also your Album?

Saxayah: What do you mean by dedicate? Always to Our Fans. I will dedicate it to Our Fans. I haven’t done my Solo Album yet but I will do first a Maxi Single which will have 3 songs on it.

When the Album Nzila Mule by Cyrille The Angel ends, there is something like a quartet. It starts with the snippet Memory Prelude I and ends with the song Memory. For those who don’t know what is a Quartet, well, a Quartet happens when a group of four people play music together or sing together. Cyrille The Angel: Good Day Sam… How are you?

About The Transcend: I am Great. Today we will talk about a song… I think The Best Song on This Album Nzila Mule although you did not choose it as The Single of The Album. Your Song Lay It on Me produced by a Very Dope Producer from Florida, USA: Da’Professor was chosen. Why did you make that Choice?

Cyrille The Angel: Well, that’s an obvious and easy question. My song Lay It on Me is more relevant to this generation. There is Autotune and my Transcending is perfect on it. The Instrumental is among The Best of my Friend Jhonny Charles aka Da’Professor. The Song is perfect for this Generation and It deserves all the Attention I gave it. I won’t lie to you but it does. I made it my Single so that the Young boys and girls cannot despair when facing The Reality of Love. Reality like what Khloe Kardashian has faced with Tristan Thompson. I just want them to never despair.

About The Transcend: But, when choosing a Single of An Album, don’t you think that it is important to put in front a Sound that gives an overview of the Album? Remember that The Album Nzila Mule is at 76,9% produced by yourself. I am talking about Instrumentals.

Cyrille The Angel: Where the f$#k did you get those numbers?

About The Transcend: Lol. There are only 2 songs not produced by  yourself. You do 2 divide by 26 songs and it gives you 76% which is a lot.

Cyrille The Angel: Thank you for the Precision. Lay It on Me does represent the Album Nzila Mule. It is on the Same Tone and it is an important thing. You can’t do Music and ignore the people who are listening… you can’t. You have to take them into account and this is what I did. They are not ready for My Song Memory.

About The Transcend: I see. So, How did you come by your Song Memory? How?

Cyrille The Angel: I made sure that My Muse and Wife: Jessica be Loved, So this is why she has given me too many Presents and I think The Song is one of her Gifts. I was working on something else when like a little vision, I saw a rapper (Old School Rappers) telling me the First words of My Song Memory. And I took it from there. The Instrumental and everything else is me who continued that because I am so Transcend. I live by Transcend. Transcend is everything to Me. Everything that I do is Transcend. And this is why we are here with An All Musical Genre Called Transcend. This is how things are.

About The Transcend: Talking about Memory… what did you try to express?

Cyrille The Angel: Something deep in my Heart… Something that y’all cannot really grasp. The Past is something that will always give headache to many people because of the fact that it can never be changed. Scientists are dreaming about a Time Machine where they can correct some mistakes of The Time but who can? How can you know that this is really a mistake you did?

About The Transcend: But we all know from what you said on Your Book Victory Addendum Available here on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/s/ref=is_s?k=Victory+addendum that you wished you had pursued the girl you had fell in love with and you thought that it was not appropriate as there was an Age problems. Don’t you wish to go back in time and heal that mistake?

Cyrille The Angel: I sincerely don’t think that I made a mistake there as that person is fine where she at. So, I think there are no Mistakes. There are just lessons to be learned. God did not give us that Option to Rewind Time, He knows why He did that.

About The Transcend: You don’t think that It is A Pattern of The Universe?

Cyrille The Angel: What is The Universe without God, His Creator?

About The Transcend: And Your Song Memory brings you that kind of questioning to your Head… How would you Call the Song Memory? How? I called it The Perfect Transcend.

Cyrille The Angel: I will not call it The Perfect Transcend as I still have a long way to go… but I will definitely call it The Perfect Mixture of Blues and Trance. And it is also a Dimension of The Musical Genre Transcend.

Talking with Cyrille The Angel about His Song Memory made me realise that everything is possible in Life and you just need to put your hand on it. His Body language told me that he was ready to do the extra mile to get what he wants. Surely Past is a deep well of experience but I still fancy the possibility of changing it. Sometime, I do although there are much evidence to its contrary.

About The Transcend: Cyrille The Angel, tell me, Is there No Tomorrow?

Cyrille The Angel: Well, it depends. There is Tomorrow as Time passes by. Whatever we do either we stay doing nothing which is already doing something or we take actions, there will be results as Time passes us by. I think sometime that Time is like a River. It doesn’t stop running his course. There is A Tomorrow. But Tomorrow is an empty Space that must be filled. And we fill it with our Deeds Now.

About The Transcend: Why did you feel the need to treat about this very Vast subject: Tomorrow? Why?

Cyrille The Angel: Well, it is about The Time it was made. It is about The Time I was living in. We are in 2016 when I experienced an High Level Frequency of Inspiration. During that time, I came up with Three songs which are included on this Album Nzila Mule. The Songs are: Diamond, Tomorrow and Eyes of Beauty. The mimes of Tomorrow came just like that and I put myself to work on it like crazy, you know. And I decided to talk about Tomorrow because at that time, there was The Dream and I saw that somehow Tomorrow does exist in Our Mind as we are able to project ourselves and work toward it. And this is why I talked about it.

About The Transcend: On the song, you speak about the need for the Youth to understand The Time Dimensions: Present, Past and Future. And I look into the Album Nzila Mule, I see songs like Life is A Present, Tomorrow and of course Memory. Do you want with this Album, the Youth to understand The Time Dimensions?

Cyrille The Angel: Sincerely, I don’t know if it is possible to fully grasp those dimensions. Time is a Reality and a Concept difficult to grasp. It wasn’t my aim to have them fully grasp the Time Dimensions. My only wish with this Album is to have them more Conscious of the choice they make because it is our Choice and Decision that determine who will become and even who we are now.

About The Transcend: If they told you when you started doing Music that you will write something great about a subject this big as Tomorrow, would you have believed it?

Cyrille The Angel: Lol. Well, I think so. I have always been a thinker, A man who likes to ponder and try to find solutions. But I don’t know if I would have achieved such beauty on the song. And that I would have doubted it.

About The Transcend: Indeed, the song is really beautiful. And I will congratulate you for it. But why stopping when you finish Transcending your Rap? Why?

Cyrille The Angel: because I felt that it was the right thing to do. I wanted the song to say a lot and when I finished Transcending Rapping, I felt like this is it. The Mimes at end will speak better than any words I could have added.

Many songs have been written about Love and many have tried to explore the feelings the two persons involved share. There are countless of them if you ask me. But none of them has tried to contemplate The Pleasure of a Starry Night.

It is cold right now as I am writing down this Article. I put the song on repeat. I got my headphones on my ears, volume well balanced. The Piano is intriguing. The Whole instrumental is just evading you in another level and Cyrille The Angel’s transcending is on another level. We had a long talk with Cyrille The Angel about The Song and here is the Interview:

Cyrille The Angel: I am good and you?

About The Transcend: I am really fine. This evening we will talk about A song very powerful on This Album Nzila Mule: Written Down In Stars. Tell me, do you only make songs when you are inspired? Or…

Cyrille The Angel: Well, it is difficult to say. It depends but I always make an effort to stay inspired and live my Life at his fullest potential. It is difficult to say yes or no because I can be stupid sometime.

About The Transcend: Like that Joke you made about performing at Liv Miami… lol.

Cyrille The Angel: Lol.

About The Transcend: I will write about it later. But can you tell us the Inspiration about The Instrumental of this song? Please, tell us…

Cyrille The Angel: I don’t remember well but It was I think in 2017, august 2017. And I slept and I dreamed I was at the parking of a shopping centre not far from where I live and someone was singing a song. She was singing it in Portuguese. I felt the accent and words. I couldn’t get it but I only memorised the melody. And it is the Melody we have of the piano playing on the instrumental.

About The Transcend: Why such Charms? I am deeply charmed.

Cyrille The Angel: Lol. Well, this is Transcend Music and we are trying at our best to express the feeling buried in our being: Love. The Charm is from the inspiration and when I made the instrumental I made sure that the piano be deep and the violin really resonating. I think I achieved something here.

About The Transcend: On The Song, you’re trying to convince your woman that the Love you share with her is true. Why didn’t you say that it is simply true? Why say that it is written down in stars?

Cyrille The Angel: Well, when I finished the instrumental, I called it Written Down In Stars because it had that feeling on it. It had that Power. When writing the song, I decided to be a bit real and a bit poetical. Look… the instrumental asked for something really unconventional and that’s what I did.

About The Transcend: Yup. The Song is really unconventional. How would you grade it on This Musical Genre Transcend? Is it The Archetype song of The Musical genre Transcend?

Cyrille The Angel: No. No. I think it is one of the most innovative song on this Musical Genre Transcend but we still have a long road to go. Saxayah has still more to offer. It is too soon to call it The Archetype Song of The Musical Genre Transcend. But it is something really deep and I am really happy to have achieved it.

About The Transcend: The performance is incredible. What is your secret to always produce such performance?

Cyrille The Angel: There is no secret. Just make sure that you are happy with what you did or people feel you. There is no secret. I have none.

About The Transcend: Can Love be Written Down In Stars?

Cyrille The Angel: When I say Written Down In Stars, I just mean that it is destined to be. And on the song I tried to give that Power so that you understand that Our Love is Stronger and there is nothing you can do about it.

About The Transcend: What was the best part when recording the song? What was it?

Cyrille The Angel: The best part was when I was transcending my rap. I had lot of difficulty to transcend. But the transcended rap came just like that.

Cyrille The Angel: I feel ok. I am still shaken by what I found but I’m ok now.

About The Transcend: Indeed. On the 1^st March 2016, you wrote and perform your song Sweeter Than Strawberry. The Song was produced by your younger brother and producer of The Album Victory: Kascott LK. How was it when writing The Song? How was it?

Cyrille The Angel: It is one of the most difficult song I’ve ever wrote… I was

About The Transcend: Is it?

Cyrille The Angel: yup. It is. I inspired the Instrumental of the song. I mean by inspiring the song that I gave the idea of the song. I remembered at that time while working on the Album Victory, we were discussing with Kascott LK and he will tell me that The Album needed a Reggae Song. And I was like yup. It was the thing missing. But there was no idea of the Reggae. We didn’t know where we could get some Reggae. My Brother LK told me that he will find something and we departed with an hope that we will make a song Reggae and include it on the Album. But from the discussion as I recall, the probability was nearly nil. I am not from a Reggae Culture. So, I really can’t just manufacture something like that. The only one who could have come up with such an Idea was maybe LK as he loves Reggae Music. But even himself, from that talk we had, I don’t think he had any idea of a Reggae Song. I went to sleep that night and at 4 am, I think, I had a melody in my mouth. And the inspiration was Reggae of course. I woke up my brother and gave him the inspiration. He will bless me for that cause he told me he was racking his head off to find anything Reggae. He will promise me to realise my wishes. We are in The Morning. He will hit me up three days later and send me The Instrumental we have now of the song. At the beginning, I wasn’t happy as the song is not Reggae but it has the influence Reggae. Then, I listened to it for a second time and I decided to take it. And I went to write the song Sweeter Than Strawberry. To come up with the song was difficult as LK changed direction of the Instrumental. I had to change too. I refused for so long to go with the inclination of the Instrumental. I wanted to write a song about chilling with my Baby. Then, I went on with the Instrumental and I let my pen flow. And then, I came up with the words: Sweeter Than Strawberry. That’s how it was

About The Transcend: I see that it wasn’t easy. What happened after?

Cyrille The Angel: I recorded the song and it was difficult as it was new to me. I invented lot of stuffs on this song: Sweeter Than Strawberry; lot of stuffs. But when preparing for the release of my First Album Victory, I decided to have it reviewed by a friend. And the friend will tell me that the Song Sweeter Than Strawberry is not good and I should change. I should sing like Chris Brown, that’s what he said. I told him I am Me, Cyrille The Angel and this is how I treat Instrumental. This is what I do. At that Time, I didn’t call it Transcend. This is what I do. The friend will tell me that it is not good and I should do better. To do not hurt people and be more accommodating with them, I decided to put The Auto tune. And this is why you have the Auto tune on My First Album Victory. I never liked it but the Album is for the people to listen. I put the Auto tune and my friend will not answer when asked if it was good but he will ask me how to use the Auto tune. I told to myself that surely he had loved the Song.

About The Transcend: How did you call your Style at that time?

Cyrille The Angel: It has no name. I didn’t understand what I was doing but I did know that it wasn’t Hip-Hop or anything known. And we released the Album Victory like that. It’s just lately, nearly 3 years after the song was written and perform that I will revisit The First version, and I felt in Love with it again. The SONG SWEETER THAN STRAWBERRY is born out of The Dream, you understand. It is The Product of The Dream. It is The Song that Represents The Search… The Search. The Search is written in My Book Victory Addendum where I talk about it in length. And The First Version was That Expression. Even when I wrote The Song, before naming it Sweeter Than Strawberry, I named it The Search of My Darling

About The Transcend: And it is on The Hook… Indeed

Cyrille The Angel: Yes. Now, I look at the Version released, the sweety sweety

About The Transcend: Lol. What is the Sweety Sweety?

Cyrille The Angel: It is The Autotune. People these days like too much sweety sweety. So you had to give them what they want. But The First Version… I wrote The Song to Express In Full My Love to My Dream Girl. Again, you can read it in My Book Victory Addendum. It is as if I kiss her for Real with all my Might. And this is why I said Sweeter Than Strawberry. I mean that Her Kiss tastes like that. Now That Sweety Sweety removed it. It totally removed it.

About The Transcend: I see. This is a Tragedy… and why did you really follow the advice of your friend?

Cyrille The Angel: The Album is made for the People. And I had it in my Deepest Consciousness. But, I should have understand that on this Album there is a Great Part of Me. I am talking of Our Love(The Love I share with My Dream Girl). And this is The real thing. I really wanted to be understandable to people. When listening to the First version three days ago, I was destroyed inside because I knew now that I could make it better. During three years, I have learned new stuffs about mixing and mastering . So, I worked on the Song and I have something now that Really represents The Search at his Full.

About The Transcend: You told me that you nearly didn’t sleep three days ago. Why?

Cyrille The Angel: Because I understood the Importance of Truly Believe in Yourself. And in a Bitter way… I felt like I betrayed My Dream Girl on this song because The Song is Really The Expression of The Dream. It came from My Dream, you know what I’m saying. I was really sad. But I finally slept, woke up in the morning and worked on the song again. He took nearly 6 to 7 hours to finish the song. And what I can say is that it is Truly The Expression of The Dream. I mean I am really Kissing her with whole my Might.

About The Transcend: What will you do with The New Version of The Song Sweeter Than Strawberry?

Cyrille The Angel: I will be more Precise in The Coming days. I will.

Indeed, it was a beautiful afternoon when we talk about this terrible experience. I was just reminded that it is really important in Life to really believe in yourself. And believing in Yourself is what really made Cyrille The Angel to this Point. The boy never stopped. He wrote lot of song. He believed in A Dream that no one can catch. And he created The Musical Genre Transcend at an Age where everything is Hip-Hop and no one wants to listen to something else.
