By About The Transcend,

The Single Isabel Mbella by Cyrille The Angel or The Sublime Charm

On the 29 february 2020, Cyrille The Angel released his Single Isabel Mbella on ITunes or Apple Music. The song was later released on other digital stores. The song is quite different from what Cyrille The Angel always brought on the table but still… it is something you should have a listen to or even buy it if you really love it.

Well, Our Team About The Transcend and I went to interview the Musical Artist: Cyrille The Angel about this very quenchy single: Isabel Mbella. Here is the Interview:

About The Transcend: Good Day, Cyrille The Angel!

Cyrille The Angel: Good Day, Sam! How are you?

About The Transcend: I am great. Today, I want to talk with you about your Single: Isabel Mbella. How did you come by the song?

Cyrille The Angel: Well, it is twofold.  The story is I made a Dream in the beginning of February. During the Dream I was invited to a Party and it was Congolese mothers who organized the party. I got into the house where the party was going and actually the Congolese mothers were waiting for me. They asked very politely to sit and they served me good foods and a drink. After I was served, one Congolese mother told me:”the one who is seated next to you… her name is Isabel Mbella.” I looked and there was a woman seated next to me. I couldn’t see her clearly unfortunately. When I woke up, I wrote down the Name. The Focus of the Dream was the name. The name was like the summary of the Dream

Then, for two weeks, I didn’t know what to do. Then, there was a debate in my Congolese community. And the debate was among my Congolese sisters and aunties. There was a generational debate that was going to become like a rift between two generations. So, I decided to make a Single with Isabel Mbella and during the song, I defend the Mothers or let’s say it clearly my Congolese aunties and my older sisters. This is the thing.

About The Transcend: I see, so the name Isabel Mbella is a name revealed to you. Hummm… what does the song Isabel Mbella tell?

Cyrille The Angel: It’s a story of a Love between myself, Cyrille The Angel and a Congolese woman who is quite older than Me. All of it is a Fiction. We met in London on a classic bar of London. It’s a Bar that Me, Uncle Loo and Hassan love to go. I met her sitted alone on the bar. So, I tried her there and she talked very well.

About The Transcend: I see. But who is Isabel Mbella? We know that in the Fiction that started since your fourth Solo Album: Afro Belle, you are a Trader who loves to have many escapades with women.

Cyrille The Angel: Lol. I don’t like to have escapades with women. I am just having Escapades with women and that’s the thing.

Isabel is a Daughter of a Congolese Politician. He saw everything in the Country. She did her High School in Congo, DR, Africa and then, went on to become an “Hotesse de l’air”. Then, she moved to London, UK to live. She met an excellent Congolese medical doctor who married her and they did 20 years before he passed away. She was the mother of 2 Children: a daughter and a boy. When I met her, her daughter was 20. She is 42 now. Isabel Mbella is 42. And me 30. This is for the story.

And we started dating. To her, I was her Consolation. She is a widow and everybody know how hard it is to lose someone to Death

About The Transcend: Indeed, but who was she to you?

Cyrille The Angel: she was a new wind… a new whisper. Of course, a night turned into many nights together and we started dating. And that’s where it became a problem to Congolese Society. For the story, her older daughter who is 20 wasn’t in good term with her. She trash talked her mother Isabel Mbella and when I met her, she was very down because she made so much sacrifices for the good upbraiding for her children and to be trash talked like that…

Now, the Congolese Society who is always very good at Publishing Things not right, informed the Daughter of Isabel about her Relationship with Me, the younger than her Mom. The daughter was upset and she went to ask forgiveness  for her trash talks but asked her Mother to end the relationship with her Consolation: Cyrille The Angel. Isabel doesn’t know what to do.

About The Transcend: And how do you feel on this whole scene?

Cyrille The Angel: I don’t like it. For the story, I came from very disturbing relationships with Lady Helene, Israela, Natalia and Uchebu.

About The Transcend: Of course, Uchebu… the Co-Star of your Album Afro Belle.

Cyrille The Angel: So, I don’t want something like this to happen again. So, I wrote the Song to express my Indignation toward the Congolese Society and Isabel Daughter. In the song, I am clearly not having it and I am asking my Baby Isabel: who got you drunk on this Love?

About The Trasnscend: And according to the Story, what is the Decision of The Congolese community of London and Worldwide on the Story?

Cyrille The Angel: It is what I am waiting to hear.

About The Transcend: I see. This is the feeling behind the song. Find the single Isabel Mbella by Cyrille The Angel on ITunes or Apple Music and other digital stores.

Cheers

Playing on the Background Cyrille The Angel – What You Sayin’ To Me

About The Transcend: What you sayin’ to Me… How did this song come to you?

Cyrille The Angel: Well, it is difficult to say… I just had that idea and I worked on it and it gives you this song out here. So far it is one of my best song and I have always loved it as it is.

About The Transcend: Indeed, it is an incredible song. But what did you try to express?

Cyrille The Angel: What you sayin’ to Me? I wanted to know what my haters were sayin’ to Me. What were they tellin’ Me. I had no answer as always. I just talked about what I did and what I went through to be here.

About The Transcend: You rap during the whole song without stop. I mean how did you come to that?

Cyrille The Angel: I worked hard on this song and I made it to this incredible point. It is an incredible song and I have loved what I did so far. It wasn’t easy to do it. When I made the instrumental, it wasn’t easy to make it. It wasn’t easy to write it and perform on it all. I had to dig deep. And it is what I did. It is sincerely what I did.

About The Transcend: I see. You talk about “Bena Kasai”. It means children of Kasai. What happened?

Cyrille The Angel: You know a part of me is Luba. Luba is the people from the South of Congo, DR, Africa. And the people were persecuted during 2016, I think. And lot of people fled to Angola. So in memory of some people dead, I wrote this verse.

About The Transcend: Is your song What You Sayin’ To Me an expression of a Self trying to Transcend and surpass all other sphere of his life?

Cyrille The Angel: Well, kind of. It is a song so Original and so new to Me. It is how I want my Music to be. The Rhythm is incredible and the saxophone…

About The Transcend: Yes… The Saxophone.

Cyrille The Angel: The Saxophone is incredible. I had to push it further. To say more… and this is what happened. It is an incredible song so far.

About The Transcend: I see. Well, we all love it. But tell me, how would you perform it live?

Cyrille The Angel: It is a dream of mine to perform it Live although it is a bit difficult. It is a Dream of mine and I have loved what I have done on it. I hope I can soon and I will get ready for that. It is what it is and it is sometime hard to re-perform it at the level recorded but you have to think about your people and I think if I can do it without playback that will be amazing.

About The Transcend: Definitely amazing… definitely. What do you love the most on this song?

About The Transcend: I see.

About The Transcend: We discuss about This song before and you told us what you think about it. The Article was published here on Transcendart.net but tell me, what did try to tell the People?

Cyrille The Angel: Nothing is easy. Nothing is easy. You gotta fight for what you want and give your best. I’ve taken it easily. I fought for what I believed and this is why I am here doing the best with what I got. I believe that it is an incredible song and I just love it.

About The Transcend: I see. Of course, Roses comes with Thorns. But is there any personal experience on this song?

Cyrille The Angel: It is the life I have lived around here. It wasn’t easy but I’ve always made sure to be on top of the problem. And this is what I did.

About The Transcend: I see. How did you come to make the song Roses and Thorns?

Cyrille The Angel: My cousin DJ Kabs came to visit me and he made the beat to show me a bit about Beat making. And it’s there that I will know about some new kicks and stuffs. After he will just try to make a beat and he will give it the backbone. I pursued it and added the Saxophones. This is how the instrumental came.

About The Transcend: Incredible song. What do you believe in when you made the song?

Cyrille The Angel: I believed that you gotta fight hard and be on it like it is supposed to. You gotta fight hard in life. And this is what I believe at that time.

About The Transcend: Do you still believe in it?

Cyrille The Angel: Yes. I still do believe in it but, you need a bit of Patience. And this is the message.

About The Transcend: I see. What was the best part when recording the song?

Cyrille The Angel: Writing the lyrics of the song was the most gratifying to me. I had to feel it and to remember stuffs. I had to create lot of images. I have already decided to rap during the whole song and at the time it was released, people told me that it is lot of words for a song. But I knew what I was expressing. There is lot of words play in the song and I love it. It is an incredible song. This was my best part. Performing it was challenging and I fought to have it at this level. Thanks God that we made it to this level

About The Transcend: Is it always a challenge to perform it to this level?

Cyrille The Angel: Yes. Always… it is always so. And I fought for it. I fought hard for it.

About The Transcend: When The Song is Over…

Cyrille The Angel: Yes. Remember that night when my cousin was talking to a girl at the end of a night. We started looking for him as we had to go with him. We thought he went himself when we found him at the counter talking to a woman who had no hairs but such a big bump on her. And he was just touching her head. Caressing is the word.  And Bob Marley song stir it up was playing… It is the end of the night in a nightclub and I asked him:”Are you bringing this girl home?” He was like yes, I am. And we left him talking with that girl. This is what is behind this song When The Song Is Over. Trying to get that chick around when the time is done and the nightclub closes. Lol.

About The Transcend: I know. You love Partying and this is one of the Fun song of this Album Nzila Mule.

Cyrille The Angel: Yes. It is an incredible song and I love what I did on it. I talk about the mad parties we’ve been having here in Johannesburg, South Africa. I used to party hard in Congo but here I was freer and this is a great souvenir.

About The Transcend: I see. Why did you try to catch that Moment when the nightclub closes and you try to get that woman to your place?

Cyrille The Angel: Because it always makes me laugh when I think about it. It is very funny to see it. Last time I was in a Nightclub, we did that. We really tried to get a woman around and me and my friend H-King couldn’t get any during the night at an expensive Nightclub in Johannesburg. So, at the last minute, we saw two girls and I went for them. We did have great time later on. Lol

About The Transcend: Lol. This is really funny.

Cyrille The Angel: Yes. It is really funny. It is a moment where men get serious about what they have in their hands but sincerely, I’ve always found it funny and to Me, just chill at the nightclub and enjoy the night. Don’t necessarily try to get someone tonight! Tonight! This is what I always tell my boys. Let’s go to just chill and see ladies around and people… and whatever happens you’re on it.

About The Transcend: How do you find the vibe in Johannesburg, South Africa?

Cyrille The Angel: Funny… The party vibe is funny and interesting. And I love to be around and be with my people. It is very interesting.

About The Transcend: I see. The song is so Original. Why such originality?

Cyrille The Angel: Because this is Me and what I have experienced in my life. It is how I want to make my Music, at least a part of it. I want people to have fun and enjoy what they are doing. This is what I love the most.

About The Transcend: Was it easy for you to write and make the song?

Cyrille The Angel: It wasn’t that easy. I had to dig deep and work hard on it. I had to work hard on it. But it had some problems for me to finish the song as I had to go through a very difficult Dream that will bring My song I promised, baby… But, soon as that thing passed, I was able to work on it and make the song.

About The Transcend: Still, this song is so incredible with such realism.

Cyrille The Angel: Yes. When I made the instrumental, I knew that’s how it would be. And this is the Best thing I have given on this song.

About The Transcend: What is your best part on this song?

Cyrille The Angel: Lol. I love the whole song as it is. I have no Best Part on this song. I just love it as it is.

About The Transcend: The Piano is fantastic. And the saxophone at the end… why did you add it?

Cyrille The Angel: I think that it needed it. I think that it needed that touch and I went for it. It is great.

About The Transcend: I see.

Playing on the Background Cyrille The Angel – Money Won’t Buy It All

Buy or Stream it here: https://cyrilletheangel.lnk.to/NzilaMule

The Link will lead you to major digital stores like ITunes, Apple Music, Spotify and other digital stores.

About The Transcend: Money Won’t Buy It All… what did you try to say to the People?

Cyrille The Angel: Well, it’s true. This sentence is true and there are some stuffs Money can’t buy and it is very important to know about it. We must be careful and understand that.

About The Transcend: But nowadays, Money rules everything. The one who doesn’t have money will blame himself for any ill things that happen to him.

Cyrille The Angel: The world we are living in is everybody mind his own business. We don’t walk anymore as a Family and share what we have. Money is powerful and I recognize its power during the song. But it can’t buy it all. It can’t buy happiness or health. Today we have Corona Virus and everybody is touched by it. Either you be rich or poor, you can be infected by the Corona Virus. This is the kind of things Money can’t buy. I mean it can’t protect you against Corona Virus.

About The Transcend: Of course but when you did the Album, you are not conscious of Corona. What are you conscious of at that time?

Cyrille The Angel: I am conscious that Money can’t buy Love. This is what I am conscious of and I am trying to explain it on the song.

About The Transcend: Does it come from experience or it’s just a conviction you have?

Cyrille The Angel: It is a Conviction that I have and then experience showed Me that you can’t buy Love. It is there or it is not there.

About The Transcend: I see. The song is a Slow pace song. How did you come to do it?

Cyrille The Angel: Well, I had that idea and I worked on it. The idea just came to Me. I was fully awake and fully understanding what I was doing. Then, I worked on it and it gives you the song. I pretty much love what I did and it is an incredible song so far.

About The Transcend: I see. The saxophone is incredible…. Again.

Cyrille The Angel: I love saxophone and I was very happy to have it on this song. This is how I love my song to be. It is an incredible song and one of my best so far. I just love it.

About The Transcend: You speak during the song about Kabinda. It is a Village situated in Congo, DR, Africa. It is in the province of Kasai. What happened there?

Cyrille The Angel: When we were kids, we went there. Our Parents brought us there. They were working in a company that wanted to develop the different agricultural opportunities that were there. We had great times and it is a great part of Me. We had so much fun as a kid and I still remember it. It was great.

Buy or Stream The Song Let’s go far away by Cyrille The Angel here: https://cyrilletheangel.lnk.to/NzilaMule

About The Transcend: The Angel, tell me… what is that place you are talking about on this song?

Cyrille The Angel: Lol. Well, when you’re in love, you make wishes to live with your partner forever and for the two lovers of this song, they wanted to be in some places alone. It could be any places. When the people or society is against your love, you will wish for that.

About The Transcend: But, this story is specific. So you must have a place in mind?

Cyrille The Angel: No. I have none in mind. I’ve never thought I could make a song like this and it is a surprise for me to make it but, I just felt like we should go far away to live Our Love.

About The Transcend: Who are those two Lovers?

Cyrille The Angel: I know you want to hear that it’s Me and Nut, The Ancient Egyptian Goddess but, this is just a tale that I made up to tell what the two lovers wanted us to know about their Love. It can be anyone. This is how I made the song.

About The Transcend: But why leaving it open in an Album talking about Yourself?

Cyrille The Angel: People needed to know about these two Lovers and I felt like I should tell it. I included it because I have always believed in a Good Story very well told and this is what I always believe. I love Tales and it was important to Me to tell it. This is why it is included in My Album Nzila Mule.

About The Transcend: I see. The song is done in your way: The intricate mimes. What do you love the most on this song?

Cyrille The Angel: It is probably the way that I transcended it (singing Cyrille The Angel’s way). I prolonged those o’s everytime and I was so on it. And I love the tale.

About The Transcend: I see. I love the little good tempo you have on the song.

Cyrille The Angel: Oh! Yes… The Tempo is very interesting. Slow and very calm… Thank you.

About The Transcend: Lol. No problem. Is there something stronger than Love?

Cyrille The Angel: When the Love is true, there is nothing that can shatter it. It is written in the Bible that Love is Strong as Death. And it is also what I tried to express in this song.

About The Transcend: Was it no personal experience attached to this song?

Cyrille The Angel: No. But the topic of the song is a topic that many lovers live and wish for. So, I believe it is a very relevant song for lovers and people who live their love.

About The Transcend: I see.

About The Transcend: Do you always feel underestimated?

Cyrille The Angel: Well, when you start doing music, you want to burst and you give the best of yourself and it can go unnoticed. Yes, I feel underestimated and this song was made to reassert myself. I just wanted to say eh!!! I am here doing this and loving this. I am worth more than a Diamond.

About The Transcend: Lol. That’s the sentence. And you made it in that style that you favor the most, The mix of your intricate voices into one. Why?

Cyrille The Angel: The Song came in a period where I needed it the most, I mean I needed to assert my music style. This is why I did it like this because I believe in myself and I know I am worth more than a Diamond. To me, it is the best way to express it.

About The Transcend: You talked about your country Congo. You complained that you are Solo. Do you think that Congo, your Country is alone on his fight?

Cyrille The Angel: Congo is into a huge war of minerals as it is a country with lot of interests and it is important that we understand that we need to make it by ourselves. This is why I dedicated this song to my country Congo.

About The Transcend: I see. Have you ever seen a Diamond?

Cyrille The Angel: Lol. Well, it is the most unlikely question I could have expected. No, I’ve never seen or touched a Diamond in my Life and I am not interested in that kind of business. But, surely I might have seen some Diamonds in some expensive jewellery stores here in South Africa. It is possible.

About The Transcend: Why did you make this Song?

Cyrille The Angel: I felt underestimated and I am always working on myself to be The Best at what I do. This is why I made this song. I just wanted to assert myself.

About The Transcend: I see. What do you love about This Song?
